The Village has supplied each household with one blue bin. Additional blue recycling containers may be purchased from Waste Management-Metro, the Public Works Department or the Village Hall. If your recyclables will not fit in one container, try crushing your cans or plastic to save space. There is no limit to the amount of blue recycling bins that can be set at the curb. The more you recycle the more money you save! There is no special way you must arrange recyclables in the blue containers. However, try to load your materials so that they do not blow out of the container. Any non-recyclable material put in the blue recycling bin will be left in the container at the curb.
