The Police Department is located at the Police Department/Public Works facility at One Plaza Drive. The Village of Woodridge is served by the enhanced 9-1-1 service, thus allowing fire, police and other emergency services to be dispatched by dialing a three-digit number. The Police Department consists of 54 sworn officers, 27 non-sworn employees, and 4 part-time crossing guards.
Each year, the Woodridge Police Department publishes an Annual Report highlighting yearly activities and enforcement. The 2006 Annual Report is now available for you to view.
The parking of vehicles on Village streets between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. is prohibited without prior approval. Phone (630) 968-2TO6 (2866) before 2 a.m. to request overnight parking if the need arises to park on the street during these hours. Parking can only be granted for one night at a time.
The Woodridge Police Department offers special services to hearing impaired individuals with teletypewriter units (TTYs). The TTY is connected to the emergency phone lines and is used to communicate with hearing impaired persons with similar machines. This installation was the result of a public law, which requires a TTY in police facilities throughout Illinois. To identify locations of hearing impaired individuals in Woodridge, the police have established a reference list of those persons who have a TTY within their home. If you have a TTY device and have not notified the Police before, or have knowledge of persons in the area who have such a device, please contact (630) 719-4740.

Permits will not be processed without prior payment.
